Lighting the way for all sea travelers. On this day children were exploring the lighthouse, diving off the railing on this hot summers evening. Reminding me a little of some of my own childhood memories with my gang of pals. We were the spitting image of tales like the “Goonies” and “Stand by Me”. They say a photograph that tells a great story is all about being in the right place at the right time…I agree.
Imagine you go to the same beautiful place again and again, but each time you hardly recognize the place it last was before. Photography near the water is ever changing. The sea can be calm and tranquil or violent and scary, it’s never to be taken for granted as Mother Nature will show you her true power at the flip of a coin. Return often for you will be told a different story each time you visit her.
